What Is Thermage?
Thermage is a non-surgical treatment designed to help tighten loose skin and improve its appearance. It uses safe and effective Radiofrequency (RF) technology to heat up the deep dermis and stimulate collagen growth. During a thermage treatment, your doctor will use a handpiece to deliver pulses of RF energy to the skin, which tightens the already existing collagen while also stimulating the growth of new collagen. This leaves your skin looking tighter and smoother, taking years off your appearance!*

Treatments usually take about 45 to 90 minutes, and there is no downtime after, so you can go back to your everyday activities immediately. Results are often visible right after your treatment, and will continue to improve over the next 6 months as your body continues to produce new collagen. These results are also long lasting and can remain for over two years.*

What Areas Can Thermage Treat?*
Thermage is a very versatile treatment that can be used on a wide variety of areas on your body. Thermage can be used to tighten up loose skin and treat fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes, face, neck, arms, hands, abdomen, thighs, buttocks and legs. It can also help smooth dimpled skin and temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite. In addition, Thermage can even be used to help treat the appearance of acne and acne scars.*
What Can I Expect During and After Thermage Treatment?
After you and your doctor have met to decide upon what areas to treat, your doctor will use a handpiece with a specialized ThermaTip® which delivers the RF energy to the deep dermis in controlled pulses, while keeping the outer skin cool and comfortable. Each pulse generally lasts less than a second, and you can usually expect to receive between 600 and 900 pulses. Treatments usually take between 45 to 90 minutes, and there is no downtime after. Most patients report only minimal pain or discomfort, such as brief sensations of heat each time the Thermage pulses.*
After your treatment, you might experience some redness, bruising or swelling at the site of the treatment, but this is generally only temporary and goes away on its own shortly. Many patients report visible results right after treatment, and you can expect to see continuous improvements over the next six months as your body builds more collagen.*
