How is the CoolSculpting Elite procedure performed?

Either way, our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and prepare you for the sessions. We will give you a blanket. How many CoolSculpting Elite treatments will I need?
Because studies have shown that up to 25% of fat cells are eliminated after a single cycle of CoolSculpting Elite in the treatment area, the number of treatments will vary from patient to patient depending on treatment area size and response. We recommend budgeting for two treatments at the minimum. Some patients may require a third or a fourth treatment session.
What should I expect during my procedure?
During the procedure you will feel some tugging initially as the handpiece grabs as much of the skin and underlying fat. You will then begin feeling cold in the treatment area, followed by being numb within 5-7 minutes. At the conclusion of the treatment cycle, the skin will begin thawing and might feel slightly uncomfortable or strange as the nerves wake back up. We recommend following each cycle by Z wave (link to Z wave page), a photoacoustic treatment that has clinically been proven to break up the fat cells much more significantly than a vigorous manual massage.
Are there any side effects with CoolSculpting Elite?
CoolSculpting Elite is FDA approved and safe. It has not been shown to cause any increase in free fatty acids, lipids or cholesterol that would have an adverse effect on health. The local treatment area will likely be a little red, swollen and tender after treatment. This can last from a few hours for redness to a few days for the swelling and tenderness. Sometimes a mild amount of tenderness to touch may remain for a few weeks as the fat cells continue to be eliminated. Bruising to the treatment area is also a possibility in those prone to bruising. All side effects are temporary.
What is the downtime for CoolSculpting Elite?
