Everyone dreams of flawless, smooth skin. Unfortunately, life tends to be make that a hard goal to achieve. Stretch marks, wrinkles, enlarged pores, as well as acne and other scars tend to take their toll. The sun, in particular, can do a number on your skin. Luckily, the marks left behind do not need to be permanent. With Venus Viva™, younger and healthier looking skin is a possibility.
There are a lot of ways that the sun prematurely ages your skin. Overexposure to the sun can cause your skin to lose elasticity as well as cause wrinkling and bags. It can even cause your skin to bruise more easily. These are all skin issues that the Venus Viva™ can help get rid of.
What is Venus Viva™?
Venus Viva™ is a non-surgical way to resurface the skin. Tiny pins poke holes to deliver heat through the skin’s surface. The process is essentially a way to cause small micro-dermal wounds. Your body will then naturally heal these wounds, giving you smoother-looking skin.
This method was originally done using CO2 lasers. However, the Venus Viva™ creates much smaller wounds, making it a much more comfortable experience while still giving you noticeably smoother skin. The Venus Viva™ process also leaves you with much less downtime that CO2 lasers do. In fact, you can resume your normal skin care routine just 24 hours after having a session.
How Venus Viva™ Treatments Work
The Venus Viva™ is a great option because the sessions are quick, generally taking only 15-30 minutes each. Unlike many other treatments, it is effective on all skin tones, not just fair ones. Most people need 3 to 4 treatments per area to achieve their desired results. The exact number will depend on the individual’s skin and the area of skin being treated. You will need to wait approximately 4 weeks in between having treatments done.
Your skin will continue to look better, even after your final treatment. Depending on your wishes and how your skin responds, you may choose to get a touch-up session approximately every 6 months.
